Project Backsplash

One of my favorite customers, known as Recy on ETSY has the coolest idea. She just bought a house that is a fixer-upper. It looks as if she's going to have a lovely kitchen when she's finished. She started something on her blog called Project Backsplash. I think it a truly ingenious idea and it's going to look so awesome when it's finished.


When I bought my house four or so years ago, I decided to make a backsplash as well. I chose this really cool marbled jade tile. I love it! It looks really nice with my kitchen that I painted a bright orange! I love bright colors. Every room in my house is painted a different color. lol.



Fortunately, I had a few tiles left over. I sent the two above to Recy today. I can't wait to see the finished backsplash. I hope others can participate as well, here's the address.

    What a fun idea. My very pattern and color coordination obsessed hubby would die rather than let me do something so bold!

    I think if I had a house, I'd paint every room a different color too! Your backsplash looks very pretty.

    I haven't tried adding my etsy shop to the google site map. I did add my etsy shop rss feed to their shopping database which also helps in searches.
