I'm a guest Blogger!

I am so excited! I recently received two invitations to become a guest blogger.

The first is for a fantastic website which helps people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The site, healmyPTSD.com, has a plethora of resources for PTSD sufferers.
A month or so ago I developed a hypnosis CD to help people with PTSD begin to heal. Michele from healmyptsd.com discovered my session through Twitter. She asked me to write an article from a professionals perspective about the benefits of hypnosis regarding PTSD treatment. Here's an excerpt:
Hypnosis has been proven as an effective tool to treat PTSD. Other treatments such as psychotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) are also very effective for PTSD sufferers. All of these therapies allow sufferers to get past the traumatic event and to learn how to cope. If you have PTSD or if you know someone who does it is important to seek help and support.

Check it out if you get a chance.

My second opportunity was for the Handmade Highway's companion blog Notes from the Handmade Highway. I was lucky enough to feature Jennifer Lambein of Studiopetite. Her art is amazing! The picture below is my favorite. If you want to see more.... hop on over to her ETSY shop.

  1. Congrats! You deserve it! I'll check them both out. I was getting scared for a while, lost my download but I found it in a wierd place in my computer so it's safe and sound in itunes. My daughter has been using my computer and it's been giving me problems.

Someday maybe you can guestblog on my wellness blog.

  2. Congratulations but I have to admit that I'm excited for you for selfish reasons. I love this blog and appreciate the comments you've made on mine and really wanted to ask you to guest blog for me.

I let my shyness get the best of me and then my computer went down and I stopped blogging myself. So please consider this an official invitation to guest blog and I promise that my feelings will not be hurt if you decline.

Take care and please KIT...I'm baaackkk ; )

  3. Thank you for you comments over on my blog. I am so happy to have it back! Anyway...I am starting to try this for serious now that I have my weightloss download back. I'm going to work on adding only the hypnosis into my life and blogging about it. Success or failure it's going up there...I'm hoping for success! During this time period I'll probably ask you to write something..likely it might be when I'm meeting a challenge?

I will also likely be purchasing some downloads during this time. I'm particularly interested in the body image one..have you completed that one yet?

With the Health Blogger Network thing over at Wellsphere I'm noticing a pretty steady increase in my traffic over there so hopefully we both get something from this trial of mine.

  4. Hi Kym! You have a very interesting and helpful blog! I'm glad you find mine over at LLnL's site. Thank you so much for following me!
I'll have to check out some of your relaxation downloads and such.
Have a great nite, and Congrats on your guest posts. Bunni
