Breaking Dawn
Today I finished the last book in the Twilight saga. I won't put any spoilers in here just in case I am not the last person out there to read these books.
Let me say, I loved these books. I was totally enchanted from the first 100 pages. All the while I'm thinking..."should I be enjoying these books this much? Aren't they teen books?" Well obviously I got past that. Then I struggled with the idea that an 18 year old female is in a relationship with a 108 year old man. Wouldn't that be horrendous in real life?? Obviously I got past that, lol.
Overall, I'm pretty bummed these books are finished. I cried at the end. Maybe it's PMS?
I hopped online to read what others had to say about the ending. It seems there are crazed fans who decided to verbally accost Stephanie Meyer because they didn't like the ending. lol. Is it that serious? wow.
I started a new book tonight: Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult

I was bummed when they were over too! I have gone back and re-read them all several times, lol. They are SO addicting. And I think they were meant for teens, but women of all different ages get in them, because of the romance I think :)
ReplyDeleteNineteen Minutes is awesome! Another tear jerker, but she is an amazing writer.
Jenn, I did hear that she was a great writer, I'm looking forward to getting into her books.
ReplyDeleteI hate finishing a really good book series, too. You spend so much time with the characters and then there is nothing new, very depressing!
ReplyDeleteYou will really like the Jodi Picoult books...I have read several. I want to read the Twilight series...but I am not sure when I will find the time!
ReplyDeleteTam, they have them as audio books now too.
